Front End Developer

Numinix Web Development Ltd is an eCommerce web development agency specializing in open source and hosted eCommerce platforms. These platforms include Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Zen Cart, and Lightspeed POS.

We are seeking a talented front-end developer to join our team to work on an exciting start-up project: building an eCommerce platform. We are offering a full-time salary with extended medical benefits.

About the Position

• Develop solutions for a large scale, eCommerce website

• Perform all activities in the development life cycle (Plan, Implement, Test, Document, Deploy, Maintain)

• Write code using development best practices

• Work with other team members and transform business requirements into fully implementable solutions

• Communicate progress updates to the team and all required stakeholders

• Collaborate with other developers by participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge and brainstorming

Technical Requirements

• Post-Secondary Education in Computing Science or equivalent (ex. Digital Media and IT, Web Design, Information Systems Technology)

• 4+ years of experience Javascript developer

• Experience with GIT

• Experience with Single Page Application (SPA)

• Knowledge and experience with development best practices

• Ability to plan, implement, test and document programming applications

• Familiarity with UX design practices would be an asset

• Ability to work in an Agile environment
